I would like to learn Polish because my husband is from Poland and we would like to teach our 8 month old son to speak Polish. I am a beginner therefore I would like to start from the basics and work my way up from there. I would like to meet once or twice a week and work on my own in between sessions. I am a beginner who will need to read, write, speak, and understand Polish throughly to communicate during my trips to Poland.
I would like to start off with a one-hour lesson every week.
I would like my teacher to be a native speaker who will not use the lesson to learn English. I would like the teacher to be an organized professional and have materials from which I can learn from.

I am a beginner. I want to learn the language for personal reasons.
W ith my future Polish teacher/tutor I actually would like to cover all language skills: Speaking, comprehension , reading, writing but I want my teacher to emphasize on Phonetics. The sound system in Polish is very new to me.
I like a mix of traditional method with a big chunk of communicative approach.
I will completely engage in my learning as I would like to reach the high intermediate level (be able to sustain a basic conversation) . I already know the textbook I would like to use.
I finally expect my teacher to be very serious, engaged in my learning as much as I am, meaning for instance, that the class should be prepared.
