My daughter is 4 yrs old. We are relocating from Columbus, OH to the Nashville area and she will be attending Franklin Road Academy(FRA) this year. She had Mandarin Chinese lessons 3 days a week at her private school in Ohio last year. Mandarin Chinese is not offered at FRA. Her instructor at her previous private school has encouraged us to continue her education since she (in preschool) had learned more words than most of the kindergarten students. I am looking for an instructor to teach her Mandarin Chinese at FRA Tues, Wed, and Thurs from 7:15am - 7:45am. The school will make a classroom available.

My son is 14 and has completed one year of high school Mandarin in Northern California. He is transferring to the high school here in Franklin, TN and they do not offer this language option.
If a tutor is available here in the Franklin / Nashville area and we can coordinate this through the school, then that would be best.
If a tutor is available online, then I would still like to work through the high school so that he gets his language credits.

In approximately 2 months (november 15) I will be leaving on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to Brisbane, Australia. The language I will be studying at the Missionary Training Center will be Mandarin, and I will be expected to teach in this language during my mission. I thought it would be wise to get a head-start.
