Dear Instructor,
I would like to take lessons in the Russian language. I would like to begin at the beginner's level, although I am acquainted with the Cyrilic alphabet and have visited Russia several times.
I am a retired high school English teacher, 65 years old, and in good health.
I would like to find someone who lives relatively near to me, so that travel for either or both of us would be minimal. I believe there are a number of Russian people living in Skagit County (where I live) and I know that there was a night course in Russian offered at Mt. Vernon community College a couple years ago.
I will rely on the opinion of my instructor to decide how often we should meet, and what the fees will be. Naturally I would prefer someone with language-teac hing experience, but I am flexible. I would like to talk to the instructor to see what we think about each other's abilities.

Advanced level but need a thorough review since it has been several years.
Opera te a translation agency and would like to be able to understand translations and communicate with native Russian-speak ing clients.
Gra mmar review, recent vocabulary, conversationa l skills.
2-3 hours per week.
Native speaker, good conversationa list. Strictly one-to-one tutorials which are adaptable to needed instruction.
Strongly prefer lessons after business hours at the Lakeville office.
NO TE: I am placing this in my name but it is for my wife, who will be the student. She intends to start studies no later than mid-September 2005.
