I am very interested in learning Hungarian. My heritage is Hungararian and members of my family live there now. I have visited and picked up a little bit on my own, but I wish to return with a greater proficiency. My wife and want to learn Hungarian. My dfamily is from a small town just outside of Buda and we recently visited Budapest. We would like to learn the language because we made many friends while we were there and plan to visit regularly. We would like to learn in person from a native so that out accent will be minimal.

I learned a little Hungarian whilst working with people from all over the world in America. To say that I know basic Hungarian would be overstating my proficiency level.
I would like to learn more and eventually spend some time in Hungary. I could dedicate up to 4 hours per week for lessons but would consider more/less depending on tutor.
I hope to find a teacher who enjoys what they do, has fun and can finally let me hear the difference between certain vowel sounds!

First of all, I do speak Hungarian, but I am not a native speaker. Since in July I will do a EU concourse, in which 1/5 of the exam is in Hungarian, I urgently need some INTENSIVE language/gram mar classes to improve my written skills. If the professor understands the EU institutional ity is an asset.
Tim e is precious, but I am willing to dedicate as much time as it is necessary to prepare myself for the exam.
