I would like to learn french language especially, because i have been staying with my roommate, which all of the are french speaking person. I feel so ashamed very much because i couldn't understand what they were speaking....a lthough i have been with them since nearly 2 years ago.
I am a beginner student in french language...on ly know a very basic french, very little. Would like to study this beautiful language because i would prepare for my incoming job as an engineer that may be needed me to converse with french people.
I would to have 2-3 times class for a week as i could not commit more than that, I'm still a student. I'm looking for native speaker as they would teach me to pronounce correctly, and teach me the way of the french people speak, not only the literature one.

Im interested to learn french since the first time i heard this french artist; Camille. I've been listening to her songs (which made me feel happy most of the time) yet not knowing what the lyrics actually means.. SAD huh? Thus, im eager to learn and understand french more. Proficiency level; That would be beginner for me. I would love to be able to converse in french once i master the grammar and it's pronounciatio n. To be able to read french book, menu, signage & such if i get to travel to Paris. Regarding the lesson time, im planning to spend 2 to 3 hours during the weekend. I would love to have my lesson in an open enviroment where i dont have to sit in classroom & such. I would like someone who is friendly, easy to communicate with and patient enough to teach me french since i have no basic at all in this language.

1) Why you are learning your foreign language (e.g., career advancement, etc.).
My mom wants to learn to speak French because she is planning to go to France and eventually migrate. She was informed that most of the people there only speak French so it would be very important for her to learn the language.
2) Your proficiency level (e.g., beginner, etc.).
My mom speaks English proficiently but for French, she is familiar with some basic words.
3) The areas in which you feel you need particular improvement (e.g., grammar, conversation, etc.), if any.
For the French language, all of the above.
4) How much time you want to dedicate to your language lessons.
About 2 to 3 hours a day.
5) What qualities you are looking for in your lessons or in your teacher.
A teacher who is patient, would teach everything in regard to the French Language - basic to expert level, is fluent and really knowledgeable on the mentioned Language.
