Hello, I am a 45 year old woman who is very interested in learning Hungarian as a second language. My partner is a native Hungarian speaker, but owing to pressure of work on both our parts and various other reasons he is unable to teach me the language. We visit Hungary on quite a regular basis and I would love to be able to join in with conversations with his friends and family and not have to always rely on him to translate. I have the very odd word here and there, but I am a complete beginner. I am very committed to learning the language as we hope to move there to live in a few years time.

I am a complete beginner. I wish to learn Hungarian in order to be able to communicate better with people when I go to the country. I would like to spend perhaps one or two classes per week learning. Honestly this is depending on what I can afford! But I am very keen to learn and practice and am looking for a teacher is both patient and encouraging. Some teaching experience would be great, as this is an entirely new language for me and I could use a structured approach.
