Hello!
I studied in Germany for a few months and took on learning German from a book. I actually did quite well with the pronunciation and grammar, but i need more exposure. I'm at the high beginner stage.
I met someone from Holland, so before I went to visit him and his family I attempted learning Dutch. Again, I did okay, but I need help.
My family background is Italian so I understand it, but have no confidence speaking.
I'd prefer lessons to be based around conversation. Once a week would be best. Once every other week is ok.
More than anything, location is important. I wouldn't mind meeting at a coffee shop in between if our places are far apart.

I am simply interested in learning German and have started the 'Warum Nicht?' Deutsche Welle course podcast. I like it! I am a beiginner, but I am also a language teacher (Spanish) and learn languages quickly. I'd like to devote about 2-3 hours a week total with the instructor. I ususally am very demanding about wanting a grammar explanation IF I feel I need one, so my instructor should be a teacher by profession (know Direct versus Indirect Objects, etc.).

To Whom it May Concern:
I am a 28 year old woman who is seeking lessons for basic, beginner German.
I plan on moving to Germany in mid-October for a cultural experience and will be in Toronto for a limited time until then. Therefore, I would like a combination of in-person lessons and online support.
Since I am currently not working, my schedule is flexible. Depending on the availability of the teacher, I would like to have a more intensive program. I would also like a fun, dynamic professional who makes lessons a joy to attend, as well as a challenging experience.
