I am not proficient in arabic at all. In fact I'm not sure if I know any words at all. I would like to dedicate as much time as possible after work each day to learn to speak 100% proficiently in Arabic for the purpose of being able to communicate for work in the native language of those whose business I hope to obtain. My family is in the business of making equipment for the oil & gas industry. I can and would like to dedicate 3 to 5 evenings a week to this goal. I would prefer if my teacher were a Muslim, as I would also like to understand the ways of Islam. However, if necessary I can see to this objective as a separate issue. I am willing and would like to dedicate 2 to 3 hours per lesson, 3 to 5 lessons per week. I would also like to learn from someone who speaks Arabic as their primary language.

I’m looking for a beginner’s level instruction/i ntroduction to Russian language and culture. The content would include greetings, simple/common phrases, common questions, alphabet, etc. I have a girlfriend from Russia and would like enough background that would be helpful in some social situations and potential trips to Russia. I’m a professional with a very busy schedule and don’t want to enroll in any intensive program that I won’t have sufficient time to commit to. Do you have any instruction programs that would serve my needs? Also, do you have any background with Ukrainian language? Thanks.

I am interested in learning Ancient Aramaic because that is the language that Jesus spoke. I would not even consider myself a beginner, because I have absolutely no further understanding of the language, except for the fact that it is the language that Jesus taught in (or at least one of them). I need improvement in all aspects of learning Aramaic, since I will be starting with no knowledge of it. The only two qualities that I would look for in a teacher would be- 1)..a school/instru ctor that also finds it important that it was the language of Jesus, and 2)..it is very important to me that I find out the correct translation of the word 'choose' into Aramaic- that will determine everything for me.

I am an engineer at the Johnson Space Center and I started learning Russian 3 years ago in college because of my interest in the Russian space program. I have taken two years of classes at the University of Wisconsin-Mad ison and spent the Spring 2007 semester studying abroad at the Moscow International University. I have an intermediate language proficiency level and would like to primarily improve my conversationa l Russian abilities.
I would like to dedicate between 2-6 hours per week for language lessons. I'm looking for a teacher that values the teacher-stude nt relationship and has a genuine interest in teaching Russian.
