I learned a little Croatian as a small child, but have forgotten most of it. I'm planning to visit Croatia this spring or summer, and would love to be at least slightly conversationa l in the language. I could devote 2-3 hrs. per week of class time, and whatever is necessary as far as study is concerned. I'm looking for a teacher who is patient, very proficient in the language, and who won't spend an inordinate amount of time on grammar, since I'm only interested in being conversationa lly fluent. I also need to find a teacher who charges a reasonable rate.

I am a advanced beginner/inte rmediate learner of Croatian. I lived in Croatia for one year and also took an intensive summer language course through the University of Zagreb. My goal is to speak more freely with my signficant other's family and gain language skills that I can use within an employment setting.
