German was the very first foreign language I learned at the age of 7, and since I try to keep it in 'active' condition through learning since I very rarely use it in my career. I am a part-time PhD student in a Russian university now, and am considering the opportunity to try one of the DAAD programmes for exchange. That's why I would like to 'revive' my skills up to the level that would allow me to pass the TestDaF and enter the program. My current level is B1 (spoken) and B2 (written) according to the Goethe Institut curriculum. The areas I would like to focus on are grammar, speaking and writing grammatically correct. I would like to meet with a teacher 1-2 times a week, in evening time or during weekends, and am looking for a professional experienced in TestDaF preparation, and familiar with Goethe Institut teaching methods.

My son is a homeschool highschool student and chose to learn German for his two years of a foreign language. We bought a 2-year German curriculum called Power-Glide, and he has been studying the book and listening to the CD's but is not doing very well. I was looking for some additional tutoring for German. I want to move to Switzerland to work and study, and I need to learn high german first. I am a complete beginner, so I need to learn conversationa l german especially, as well as written and grammar. I would like to dedicate as much time as possible to learning the language, I am free Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays. I am looking for a teacher who has a profound knowledge of German, and with whom I can practice speaking. It would also be good if the teacher knows Swiss German as well, however that is not as important.

I would like to start a German Course as soon as possible. I have just finished my A level and I am expecting my results in 2 months. I am at the moment applying for my further studies in German mainly in the University of Seigen. I woud like to have a basic course here as this is required by the Univertisty.
