I am an extreme beginner, I am learning for mostly personal reasons, I'd like to get up and running as quickly as possible, but in the end I'd like to be able to carry on a normal conversation. I can devote a few hours a week to lessons, and any more time as need for study. I would prefer the teacher to be a native speaker, with knowledge of Ukrainian culture as well if at all possible.

I am a Russian Major at the University of Southern Mississippi. I am a beginner and wish to hire a personal Russian tutor to help with my language needs via skype. I would like to have russian tutoring 2 days a week Tuesday and Thursday I have regular Russian classes on Monday, Wednesday, Friday. I am looking for someone that understands that I am new to Russian and need someone that is patient and that makes me feel calm. I would like to have one hour sessions on Tuesday and Thursday.

I would love to learn Russian as a second language because most of my friends and neighbors have Russian as their first language, also Russian is widely spoken in Washington and Oregon. I would like to take classes and become fluent in Russian. I do not know anything other than a few words in Russian and would like to be able to talk a full conversation. I would like to learn Russian fast so I would be willing to dedicate everyday or every other day to learn how to speak. I can read Russian, but do not know how the meaning of the words as I say them.
