The proficieny level is going to a beginner. The reason I want to learn this language is for couple of reasons. One is because I am interested in learning other languages and the second is beacuse I want to travel to Iceland at the end of the year for two and half months. So knowing some basic words will help me get around the country. Since I am a beginner I like to learn the basics read, write and understand. Since I study in university i would like allocate 1-2 hrs a week starting as soon as possible. The qualities i am looking for in a teacher is willing to teach, not making fun of my pronounciatio n when i'm wrong and providing encouragement .
