Im not writing this for me, my wife has to learn german because she is going to come to Germany after the A1-Test.
B ecause she works in a Restaurant from 5pm to 1am, the best time would be from noon, somewhat like that.
It would be nice if the lessons would prepare her for the A-1 Test. Not fully, because we intend to go there anyway at some time, but at least somewhat.
She knows only some words and can count until 1000 with some errors, or little bit help provided. But she speaks english very well and i think she is able to learn the german language with a good teacher.

I want to learn German and Dutch because I have been long fascinated with the languages. My home language is derivative form them -Afrikaans- and they are amazing languages. I'm a beginner but learn languages easily. I currently speak three languages somewhat fluently and it has been told to me I have good pronunciation skills. I'm looking for someone who requests a lot of homework to be done and whom considers regular conversation in only German/Dutch mandatory. I am a serious student whom accepts the occasional challenge and considers education top priority.

I am writing on behalf of my 13 year old son. He loves learning different languages (he has studied Hebrew and is currently studying Mandarin). He is a beginner in German (he's never had any formal instruction). I think a lesson of 30 minutes to one hour duration would work, (depends on cost). I am looking for a teacher who is patient, is from Germany (my son's ability to mimic accents is excellent, so I want someone with only a German accent) and would enjoy teaching a younger person.
