Desire to learn French as a career advancement, as there may be a possibility of getting posted in a French speaking country. I am a beginner, with no previous classes. As I am planning to take the classes (twice a week) along with my wife, ideally the classes should be held in my home, as we have a small child. I am learning for leisure and to enjoy my travels to Europe better.
My competency level in these languages are as follows: [1] Spanish - 3 basic CD courses (vocab now: 400-500 words) [2] Portuguese - 2 basic CD courses (vocab: 200 words) [3] Italian: 1 basic CD course (vocab 50 words) [4] Franch: o level 30 years ago! (vocab: 250 words).
I particularly want to improve my conversation skills.
I spend 1 to 2 hours a day on learning a language.
