I am a new student to the Russian language. I would like to learn it because it is my husband's native language. We are having a baby and plan on teaching the child both Russian and English. Also, his parents speak Russian and we plan on visiting them in Lithuania on a yearly basis. I want to be able to speak comfortably with his parents and friends. I have begun learning the alphabet, pronunciation , and I know a few words but I am far from being able to hold a conversation in Russian. I am willing to dedicate a lot of time to my learning. I am looking for a dependable teacher with experience teaching Russian and one who finds it easy to explain the multiple facets of the language. Ideally I would like a teacher that I can meet with every week, but would be fine if it is only once every two weeks. I also have a few workbooks if they are needed to ease lesson planning.

I work with an international human resources staffing firm and would like to broaden my knowledge of other cultures throughout Asia. Currently, I am interested in learning more about Russian culture and am seeking individuals who can provide tips and coaching to help me and some of my coworkers more effectively conduct business negotiations with clients dealing with Russian companies.
I am uncertain if the teachers on this site are required to pay to receive a student's contact information, but after we chat some I will be happy to reimburse you as a business expense if we decide to meet later.
