I want to learn a new language over the course of my stay in Cochin (which extends till September 2010 at least. The language I chose is German since I feel that it will be of great use to me later on in life since knowing German is a much needed fillip for further studies in Germany.
I am a beginner.
I need to learn German from the bottom up.
I'd like to have classes a few days a week depending on work timings and other engagements.
I am looking for a teacher who speaks German fluently and can send me on the right path to learning not just the language but the culture of the country - since you can't learn what to say without knowing why they say it!

I would like to learn German to be able to communicate with my daughters who are going already to German Schools.
I have finished successfully one course in the Goethe institute last summer, but unfortunately my busy schedule hasn't enabled me to pursue my learning and this is why I'm looking for a private teacher.
Fir st area to focus on is conversation, I like to be able to conduct long conversations with my daughters and their teachers in German language.
I think it would be best that I have 1-2 lessons a week 2 hours max.
I'm looking for a teacher that could enable me to acheive my goal which is being able to communicate effectively in the shortest time possible as well as enable me in the future to apply for the language certification s provided at Goethe. The teacher's German proficiency should be mother tounge in order to get the right accent of the language. He/She has at least to be DEO/DSB graduate and of course to be a certified teacher.
