I want to learn Hindi for career purposes. I am a beginner at Hindi; I have only learned a few basic phrases from the internet. As an instructor you should start from the beginning with me because I have not been studying very long and it has been without an instructor.
I would prefer to meet once to three times a week for in person instruction and I hope to find time in my life five to seven times a week to devote for studying. I am a serious student and I will need a lot of instruction to get to the level of proficiency I desire.
I am looking for a teacher who is fluent in Hindi. Previous teaching or tutoring experience is preferred. I need you to be willing to meet with me live at least once a week in person. We may want to meet more than once a week based on progress (perhaps meeting more at the beginning).

I have recently been accepted for Teach for China and need to learn basic Mandarin before going (I leave in July2012). I have no prior experience in Mandarin and would be a beginner. I would like to focus more on conversation and understanding . Lessons two-three times a week for a couple of hours would most likely be good.
