Hi;
I am a beginner of learning Russian. I have been listening to cd's and trying to learn off of the internet. I have met a Ukraine lady and visited her twice. She speaks little English. I feel ythat I need to learn her language, just as she feels she needs to learn mine. We are serious and want to go through the fiancee visa process soon.
I would like to have many Russian classes, preferrably in the evenins. It would be helpful if they could be on a Tues. & Thurs. night around 7:00pm for approx 2 hours each night. This schedule is negotiable too.
Do you feel that you can help me with my new adventure of trying to learn Russian?

I spent three weeks in Russia during the summer of 2005. I am a fairly quick learner when it comes to languages, so I had a pretty good grasp on the language. However, since I have not had a chance to practice it with anyone, I have forgotten a lot, though I think it would come back to me after studying for a short time.
I would like to further my knowledge of the Russian language for several reasons. I am Russian through heritage, so I would like to be able to connect with some families better. I love learning foreign languages, and I think it is one of the best ways to learn about another culture. In the long run, I think that Russian could help further my career as well.
I would prefer face to face contact for my lessons because that is the way that I learn best.

I studied Russian language at University. I also spent 4 months in St. Petersburg, Russia. That was almost 5 years ago though, and my Russian has been getting worse and worse. I have forgotten almost everything I learned.
I want to improve my conversationa l skills as well as my Russian grammer.
I am probably around intermediate level (maybe lower).
I am looking for a teacher that encourages me to speak in Russian, no matter if its wrong. I have had too many language teachers who do all the talking. I want to learn how to speak, not just listen.

Hello! I am a beginner at the Russian language. I have studied some basic vocabulary on my own and with family. I want to learn Russian because my fiance and his family are from Russia.
