I'm an intermediate student of Russian. I need to work on vocabulary building, especially learning more verbs. I'd also like to improve my writing skills as I am working as a journalist in Kyiv.

I would consider myself a beginner, but I do know most of the letter in the cyrilic alphabet and can make out words. I don't always know what the words are, but I have tought myself as much as time has permitted me (I am a full time college student). I know the basic, 'hello', 'how are you' 'my name' and some more than this. My husband is from Odessa, UA and speaks Russian fluently, as it was his first language. We visited there about almost 2 years ago, and are going back this summer. I set a goal for myself to speak better Russian, but just have not had the chance. I would really love it if you could help me out.

I studied Russian 40 years ago as a university student and travelled to the Soviet Union. I am returning to Russia as a tourist on Deember 26 and I want to regain as much fluency as possible in this short time in the areas of international affairs, finace, economics and the arts as well as everyday conversation.
