Italian:
I already speak lower intermediate Italian. I, however, never get the opportunity to practise my Italian. I would also like to have grammar tuition. It would be nice if my tutor could become my friend, in order for me to continue improving my Italian and have the rich cultural experience associated with Italian. Irish Gaelic
Dhia dhuit! Is mise Willem Oosthuizen. I'm looking for a needle in a haystack - an Irish citizen living in the Pretoria, or close to the Pretoria, area; who can teach me to read/speak Irish Gaelic. I don't have my own vehicle and I would like private tuition. I have Diarmuid O Se and Joseph Sheils' Teach Yourself Irish with accompanying CDs. I'm a total beginner. I love traditional Irish Gaelic Music. My main aim is being able to read Irish Gaelic fluently and develop full comprehension . Speaking is secondary, unless this person can become a friend and we can develop a conversation.
I have to alternate between Italian and Irish Gaelic. I can spend 1 1/2 hours per day on language learning. I am a self-employed fine artist/transl ator, so I can arrange with the respective teacher to have classes when it more or less suits him/her. Thank you to the host for their efforts.

Hi,
I am looking for someone to teach me Italian, I am moving to the Italian part of Switzerland at the end of September. I am looking to learn conversationa l Italian, I have no prior knowledge of this language, therefore I am at the beginner level. I am looking to spend 1 to 2 hours a week with a tutor, for the most part of the summer. I am looking for a teacher that is patient, I would prefer to pay $15- $20 an hour, I would also like to have them give me work to do inbetween tutoring sessions as I want to learn as much as possible.

I have previous class experience however not much practical usage. I would consider my level to be intermediate. I would like to become fluent as well as teach my daughter as I learn. Ideally I would love to find a 'family' class for us to learn together.
I think I need a refresher in general but would like to improve my conversationa l skills. My schedule is flexible so depending on cost I would be open to classes 2 to 3 times per week.
The qualities I would like my teacher to have are passion, humor and patience.
