I am very keen to learn russian and farsi. I want to learn the basics so as to converse for business purposes. I want to learn these languages for career advancement.
I can spend an hour three times a week in the evenings after 6:00 pm.
My teacher has to know English and the language i want to learn and has to be really patient and friendly, with immense knowledge of the language he/she would teach.

I am a beginner, but have taught myself the Russian alphabet and phonetics associated with each letter. In addition in my travels to Russia, I have learnt around 100 words, but I do not know any Russian grammar rules and cannot string a sentence together.
I would like to go and study Siberian Studies and further Russian Language Courses in Russia in 2009 but need to be able to understand the lectures (which are supposedly all in Russian)
M y end goal is to be proficient in Russian for Business and Public Speaking levels.
