I am interested in learning Cantonese for career related purposes. I am graduating from a Masters degree in a health related profession and I find that learning Cantonese would enhance my communication skills with some of the people I serve. Although my first language is Chinese (Hakka) I find it difficult to understand and speak Cantonese. I would like to work on learning the foundations and conversationa l aspects of the language and slowly progress towards more technical components. I would like to dedicate at least once a week for 1 hour to start.

I want to learn Polish because my husband's parents live in Poland and cannot speak English. My husband was born in Poland and his entire family speaks the language.
I am a beginner and only know a few words. I need to improve my conversation and writing among other areas.
I am hoping to have one or two lessons a week with the instructor and spend at least an hour (possibly two) a night on my own to learn. My husband and I are going to Poland for Christmas and I would like to be able to speak enough to have conversations with my in-laws while there.
I am looking for someone patient as I have learned my tongue is not as agile as the Polish language sometimes requires. I want to have someone who will teach me grammar and proper pronounciatio n of the words. I am looking for an instructor who will push me to my limits in order to help me succeed.
