I did a Master degree in Finance at the Luxembourg School of Finance (in English)and I want to stay in Luxembourg for a few more years. Therefore I need to learn French.
Nevertheles s I am living in Luxembourg for quite a while I didn't have much exposure to French Language (only 'restaurants' conversations ' or short sentences). I have attended a French course once at Centre de Langues and I have finished level A1, but think I am still a beginner level.
I would like to improve my grammar; conversation; reading and writing and to do that I would like to dedicate 6 hours per week, but it will depend of the cost of the lessons.
For me the most important quality is focus on results; the teacher should have an effective method to teach.

My wife and I are moving to Castres to live. My French is poor, although my wife's is better. I need to improve my French quickly so that I can perform everyday tasks with confidence. This will be my primary objective when we arrive soon after 1 April. I believe that an intensive programme of perhaps five half-days every week (either one-to-one or in a small group) would be the best way to learn. All suggestions gratefully received.
