Hello!
Each year in the Fall I travel to Russia with a mission team from my church. I have just returned from my fifth visit, and I would like very much to improve my language skills prior to next year's trip. I am a beginner in Russian, but I do have a small vocabulary (maybe 200 words or so...) and have had an opportunity to practice in a live situation!
I am willing to travel within a reasonable range, and while as a missionary, cost is important to me, I am also willing to pay reasonable fees for tutoring. I am a serious student, and willing to start immediately! Since there will be a team of us going again next fall there is a chance a group could be put together later in the summer. Let's talk!

I took two years of college level Russian Language as an undergraduate student. I am hoping to enter a Master's Program within the next couple of years. However, in the interim period, I do not want to lose the language skills that I have, and I want to continue to improve while learning new things. I am especially concerned with speaking skills and grammar perfection. Grammar is more important, but speaking is very essential to me too. I would like to have 2 (2 hour) sessions a week. I am looking for an instructor who has prior teaching skills. I would also like this person to set reality-based goals for my language acquisition. I really love the Russian language, and it would be great to have an instructor who is excited about teaching!
