I am Asian, english is my second language and would like to learn mandarin as my third. I am beginner in mandarin. Used to learn mandarin when I was 15 years old, but now has forgot most of it. As mandarin become important, I would like to can listening, understand, speak and read some basic mandarin for daily communication and career advancement.
I am thinking to dedicate time about twice a week for this language lessons. It would be great if somehow also could also find another learner (with similar proficiency level) to start this class together.
I expect a mandarin native speaking teacher, with a good teaching method to make the lesson fun and easy to follow.

I am looking to leave my full-time employment as a business consultant to study Mandarin full-time. I am interested in learning in the following cities: Shanghai, Bangkok, Manila.
I am looking for an individual with which I can schedule time with every day Monday through Friday. Initial plan is 3 hours per day up to 5 hours per day depending on the curriculum developed.
My level is basic at this point.
My goals are to read, write, speak at an intermediate level or beyond and be able to take the HSK exam within the next 12 months.

I want to study mandarin because I plan to work abroad. I believe that it will be useful for my applications and I can easily communicate with the citizens. I do not have any Chinese background and I never had opportunities of learning or understanding mandarin, thus I am a beginner. I think that I really need to learn the basics of the language. I am willing to a lot at least an hour everyday to learn the language. I expect my teacher to be really patient because it is not that easy to learn something new and to grasp everything immediately. Rest assured I will exert my best to learn as quickly as possible.
