I am looking to learn basic-interme diate dutch to prepare for the language proficiency exam at the embassy to qualify for a resident permit in the Netherlands. I am intending to join my boyfriend and would like to get started as soon as I can. I am looking to spend 2 hrs per class and as much as 3x a week. The language that I am wanting to learn is Tagalog, because I will be working here in Manila for the next 5 months. I believe that knowing the language will get me around places easier and also communicate better with co-workers. I do not know any Tagalog, however I do know Spanish and have been told that there are some similarities. I would like to have about 2 to 3 lessons a week and start with the basics of the language. The lessons can be in a formal or casual setting, my main goal is to learn the language I can adapt to the settings.
