I like learning different languages - I am studying in Paris to learn to teach both French and English as a foreign language. I would like to learn other languages as well as improving my Spanish and Japanese (which I already know a little bit of). I would like to improve my Spanish conversation and I would like to improve my Japanese overall (this includes conversation, grammar, reading skills, etc.). I am hoping for a kind and patient teacher who is good at teaching language! I am willing to do an exchange as well -- I would be willing to teach them English for their time teaching me a different language! :)

I wish to improve my French so I can tour France
I am intermediate and have had 7 years at English Grammar School but I have difficulty understanding spoken French
I need improved conversation. Definitely no more grammar.
I can spend 4 hours per week lessons and 6 hours private study.
I need a teacher who is a native French speaker who can appreciate that even inexact verbal communication is far more important than correct grammar ie making adjectives perfectly agree or getting the exact tense ending for the pronoun concerned.

I want to learn french because I have been to paris and realised that i couldn't communicate with any one there. I took french before in my first year of studies and it seems to me that i have learnt nothing.
