I have always been interested in the Russian language and culture. I can not currently speak or read/write in Russian. I would love to learn to speak it and if possible read and write in Russian. I have wanted to speak Russian for my whole life, my grandfather is a Russian Native and I visited Russia with him a couple years ago and felt more of a need to learn it since that experience. I would have to speak to a teacher and disscuss how much time I would need to dedicate in order to have enough practice as I am not aware of how much time it takes but I am open to whatever it takes. I am not currently seeking any particular qualities as this is very new to me and I am not sure what to expect.

I am a beginner in Russian. I have learned a little in Russian and I can read the Cyrillic alphabet, but all of this has been done through Russian people that I know or through teaching myself, which is not a very useful way of learning a language.
I would really love to learn Russian purely because it's useful to me as another language. I am not learning it for school or career advancement, I'd like to learn it so that I can better communicate with Russian people, and I plan on going to Russia to study one day in the future.
I have a lot of time, and so because of that I can give up a lot of time for lessons.
I would like a teacher who is friendly and talkative, but I also would like discipline as well, because it makes the language faster and easier to learn.

2.Why you are learning foreign language?
I want to learn a new language aside English and Spanish because i want to expand my knowledge and beacome familiar with distinct forms of speech along with learning someting new about a culture. The reason behind this is that I believe that if you by chance meet a new person or a group of people from another country and you speak thier language then its not only eaiser but you'll be able to creat a stronger bond.
3.What areas do feel in which you think you'll need particular improvement?
Well like I said im a beginner so everything starting from the A,B,C's to haveing a conversation.
4.How much time you want to dedicate to your language lessons?
A s much as possible.
5.What qualities you are looking for in your lessons or in your teacher?
I want that my teacher knows the languge well and I would prefer if he/she was a native speaker of my chosen language. I am very persistent and I have high standers for my any of my teachers. Now as to the material I want to speack fluently and with out an accent (meaning I want to speak like a native person).
