I am a beginner in Mandarin Chinese. I would like to learn it because I believe languages are keys to discover the culture of a country. I know nothing about Chinese culture but it is ancient and very rich. I hope learning Mandarin Chinese will help me discover it.
After hard work and lot of practice I would like to be in a position to read and watch films in Chinese. I can dedicate 2 hours per week for a telephone lesson plus the time required to do teh homework.
The teacher I am looking for should not hesitate to correct me straight away and, whenever possible, add the cultural context of what we are working on. Once I have reached a decent level I would like to know which Chinese exams are avialable and attempt to pass them to give value to my learning.

Hello,
Togeth er with my wife we would like intensive class of mandarin. We need to make it very efficient, so we thought:
. 10 to 14 days the first two weeks of august
. Separate class, both private class
. 2 hours in the morning, 2 hours in the afternoon
Th us would be around 2x 4x 12: 96 hours around.
We are intermediate. We want to learn mandarin with teacher with good accent.

- if you know some good, charming, accomodation (we would like to avoid big hotels)
