I would like to learn French as my girlfriends family is French and none of them speak English which is my native language. I'm not looking to become an expert in all aspects of the language I simply would like to be able to communicate and have conversations in French. I'm looking to spend an hour or 2 per week or whatever is needed and looking for a teacher who can push me to a high level as quickly as possible.

I live 1,5 years in the Netherlands and I feel a need to learn Dutch both for a professional growth and private life. For the past 7 months I've worked in Dutch speaking company and although I've never taken Dutch lessons I did start to understand some Dutch. The first step for me is to understand Dutch (especially prononciation ) and to start speaking basics. I work fulltime but I have March 2013 off and I am planning to dedicate this time for the studies. The important quality in the teacher is that he/she cares about the students and understand each student needs and can motivate to study. The most important is of course the result.
