URGENT NEED FOR TWO WEEK RUSSIAN INTENSIVE AUG. 31 - SEPT. 11
I need to learn Russian well for the sake of my long-term work projects in Russia, and because my wife and children (and in-laws) are all Russian.
I am currently at beginner or possibly 'low-level intermediate' level. I can read the alphabet, and I am told that my pronunciation is good. I know a good bit of vocabulary, and can often understand what someone is trying to tell me.
I need GRAMMAR, and also more vocabulary. If possible, I would also like to learn any idiosyncrasie s associated with the kind of Russian spoken in the Caucasus region.
I have a difficult schedule right now. What I am looking for at the moment is a VERY intensive 10-14 day tutorship in Moscow beginning SOON - Sat., Sunday or Monday (Aug. 29, 30, 31), and ending on Friday, September 11th. I am willing to put ALL my time into assignments and classes during this period, and I am also willing to travel anywhere in the city region.
I am looking for a teacher who knows Russian well, a native Russian speaker who at least has conversationa l English. Experience and qualification s are not as important as availability, dedication, and true helpfulness. Someone who could be flexible & available during these next two weeks (and I am also available to meet at crazy hours). It would have to be at their place or at a cafe or somewhere, as the place I am staying is not suitable for uninterrupted study or conversations .
I realize I will not become a fluent Russian speaker in two weeks! But I do hope to gain a good grammatical footing, and hopefully add some vocabulary as well.
I also don't have a fortune to spend. So please offer a good price or be willing to bargain. : D Thank you!
