I would like to learn chinese mandarin in order to smooth the business matter. we've never been learning mandarin before, so the 'beginning level' with concentration in conversation and listening is what I'm looking for to start.
we would like to have the lesson in the morning on the weekdays.2 days a week.
Like i mentioned above, we want to focus on the conversation and listening the most, so therefore, we hope that the teacher could teach us in that area.

Hello...I'm a Malaysian and I work in the Hotel Industry. I recently was working in Shanghai and will be going back there in 18 months. I want to take this opportunity to learn to speak Mandarin. I need to be able to understand and coverse fluently. I am a beginer and would need someone who is patient and understanding . I can dedicated at least 3 hours per week. Due to my work schedule, I would prefer a private lesson with fixed schedule.

I am a female. would like to learn Mandarin in order to communicate with my Mother's side of the family. I can understand basic Hokkien (which is a dialect of chinese spoken in Malaysia) which is very different from Mandarin. However, I have the ability to hear several tones in the same 'word' and understand them as separate meanings.
I am willing to dedicate 2 hours a week to learning (and several hours of practice / homework)
I would like to do a few trial lessons and then determine a longer-term commitment after a trial period of about 4 weeks. Sunday mornings 10am-Noon at my apartment at the South End of Halifax. (-:
