Hello, my name is Jake. I am looking to learn Korean. I want to learn this language for two reasons. One reason is the fact that my girlfriend is from Korea and I feel like I should take the time to learn about her culture and especially her language. I have travelled to Korea with her and found it to be absolutely amazing. I plan on going back there again as soon as possible but this time I want to be able to speak the language so that I can talk properly to all the wonderful people that I met on my last trip over there. The other reason for wanting to learn the language is that I am planning on trying to get a job over there next time i go back teaching english. I'd like to live over there for a while and I believe that it will help me immensely if I can speak the language. While i picked up a little of the language during my stay there I am really only at the beginner status and am eager to further my knowledge. I need to be able to fit lessons in around my work ( need to make the money to finance my next trip) but i have free time in the afternoons in which to study. I'm looking for someone friendly ( and fairly patient. It's been a while since I have done serious study) from whom I can learn.

My proficiency level in english is excellent.
M y proficiency level in korean is...not so great.
I would like to learn korean because I aspire to become a future korean singer, plus I hope to teach kids in korea english.
I will dedicate much time to my language lessons.
Qua lities I'm looking for in my teacher is someone who will be very kind to me for I'm bright but a little slow when learning languages because I want to get the full concept of it.

I want to learn korean because i like their culture and writing and language (how it sounds). My level is beginner because i have never spoke korean. The areas i really need to work on is grammar,talki ng,reading and etc.Iwant to spend at least 1 hour ( or more) of learning korean and 3-4 times a week. I would really like that a teacher can be korean also because it will help me to get use to talking fast and i will understand him/her faster:)

I came to S. Korea to get Master degree in Physics September 2009. But until now, I can not speak Korean. My lectures are in English, so I don't have many chance to learn Korean.
I need to learn Korean because it is necessary. I can write and read Hangul but I can not make sentence (grammar) and my vocabulary is very poor.
Because I am doing research, the only time I can dedicate to the lesson is evening time (from 5 P.M). And I want to learn until I am fluent regardless the time is needed.
I am looking for teacher who understand my limitation of time and eager to help my Korean.
