Hello,
My name is Karine. I'm a 24 years old med student with a passion for Asian, Japan and China being the main countries I'm in love with. :-) I've decided to learn Japan out of interest, because I really love the culture, and because I would really like to know more about Japan. And one way of doing such a thing is by learning its language. I'm starting from zero, but I'm very interested in learning and will put 100% effort. :-)
I didn't know if I wanted to start with chinese or japanese...an d I am still pondering upon it. But I believe that to start with the easiest one of the two (I am by NO WAY saying japanese is easy!!!), did sound like an o.k. solution to my problem! hey why not :D one day I'll speak both. :-)

I want to learn Japanese! I think that speaking with a native in my hometown will be great way to build on and improve my abilities. I would like to use a text and also be able to have conversation.
I studied Japanese in high school and spent the past year in Tokyo but still my Japanese is nowhere where it should be. I think my Japanese is beginner. I can read Hiragana and Katakana and of course I want to learn Kanji. I am very dedicated to this and I will try my hardest to speak the language.
As far as a teacher goes, someone is knows Japanese very well and has confidence and patience when teaching. Basically, someone who knows what they are doing and genuinely wants to help people learn Japanese.

I would be a beginner. I can say good morning, good bye, take care, I can count to 29 comfortably I can count higher but not quickly. But I understand how to.
