I would like to start learning Russian because I often work with Russians at my workplace. Also, I studied Russian as a child, so I think I should not waste that knowledge (although I basically forgot almost everything by now). I am at beginner level.
I'd like to have a 1,5-2 hour lesson each week, in the morning hours (weekdays). I want to learn grammar, but I would like to lay emphasis on speaking and conversation skills.

actua lly, am learning Russian for personal needs.
i am a very bigginer, so i guess i will need to have focus on every thing. am not sure now smooth it will go. hence i cant decide how much time should i dedicate for it. but, after i finish i expect to speak, read 7 write Russian very well.

So far I've had 2 semesters worth of Russian and I really, really want to develop my conversationa l skills. I feel sort of inadequate when it comes to speaking the language. As of now I would consider myself a beginner still.
I'm learning Russian because I like the language, I am interested in the culture and literature and hope to study abroad someday. I would love to someday become an interpreter if possible.
I would like to dedicate at least 2 hours a week then move up to possibly 4 hours. Maybe a 1hr lesson a day.
What I'm looking for in a teacher is patience, drill work especially for speaking and definitely things about Russian culture and life.
