My goal is to become fluent in the language and travel on a missionary trip to Ethiopia and tell them what a beautiful culture they have and how precious they are as one. I know a couple of words here and there but will dedicate as much time as needed to perfect the language. I also consider myself lucky to have a group of Ethiopian friends who are supportive and are helping me to learn. I am seeking a teacher who will inspire, educate, and guide me through this beautiful language.

I'm a relatively recent college graduate who took about two and a half years of Russian classes at Rice University. I also spent a semester in St. Petersburg, where I further developed my speaking, reading, and writing skills. But this was two years ago and I feel as though I've forgotten everything I learned. I don't have any particular reason for wishing to continue with Russian, except that I really enjoyed learning the language. I also intend to eventually pursue a Master's/PhD in Comparative Literature, which necessitates a proficient degree of knowledge in at least two languages other the English, so I'd like to focus especially on reading, writing, and grammar. I do think, however, that my speaking skills are the weakest. Ideally, I want a teacher who is patient and understanding , has a robust sense of humor, and is not afraid to push his or her pupils to the highest level of their abilities. I would ideally like to dedicate 2-3 hours a week of instruction. I work from 9-5 Mon-Fri, so I am free all evenings and anytime weekends.

B een in Ukraine several times a year and i always feel intimidated when someone speaks Russian around me.
I understand few words but not good enough. I wanted to learn how to read and write. For future advancement in my career in renewable energy, I plan to represent american base company in Russia one day.
