Description
I am looking for a tutor for the summer of 2011 and into the fall semester. I am a student attending university and I have recently completed Japanese I. I'm trying to become fluent in the language and I would like to start in June. My grammar, conversation and vocabulary are lacking. I plan on taking Japanese 2 or 3 at my institution in the spring of 2012 depending on how much I can learn in the summer and fall. I am currently using the book Japanese for busy people 1 (Romanized) and I would like to complete my studies with it before moving on.

I've always been fascinated with the Japanese culture. I would love to live there one day, soon. I watch many shows on TV which feature Japanese as the main language, but I am limited to reading the English subtitles. I mainly want to learn the language to help me when I move to Japan, but also to enjoy Japanese entertainment here in the states, without the need to endlessly read subtitles. I am a complete beginner. I took karate lessons as a kid and learned numbers 1-10 in Japanese, but that's about it. I would love to dedicate as much time as possible now that I am done with college and have some free time to address any type of academic pursuit. I am looking for a teacher who is paitient and passionate about teaching. I want to learn the language, but also as much about the culture as well. Thanks.

Description
I am learning Japanese for personal reasons. I have some knowledge of the language but need more practice so that it will stay with me. My comprehension skills are better than my speaking abilities. I am also learning Japanese through Rosetta Stone, but it can be confusing. I am retired, so I have devoted most of the day everyday to learning the language. This is a priority for me.
I am looking for a tutor who has the same passion on teaching the language as I have on learning the language. A tutor who is patient and willing to stick with me until I have mastered lesson.

Description
I've always loved the Japanese culture and language, so I decided to learn the language at least. Japanese proficiency - Beginner
I 'm part Native American and always wanted to connect more with that part of me. Ojibway proficiency - None
I'll spend as much time as possible learning these languages.
The type of lesson I'd like would be one that starts out difficult, but gets progressively easier.
