Hello
I would like to learn French or in otherwords improve my French because i'm applying for a job where i will be dealing with French speaking countries.
I've graduated from a French school in Cairo but i haven't practiced the French language for over 10 years. I need classes in conversation and writing with specializatio n in marketing topics.

I am looking for a French immersion experience for a few weeks in November. I will be staying alone in an apartment in Ixelles from Nov. 4 – Nov. 18 and again from Dec. 2 -9. I will actually be in Brussels from October 18 – December 22 but during the other weeks, my husband will be there and he will want to speak English with me in the mornings and evenings when he is not working.
I am unsure what you would call my level of French. I can usually make myself understood and I can use several verb tenses if I concentrate. My greatest problem at the moment is understanding people when they speak to me at a normal conversation rate. I believe that I now need to be immersed in the language long enough to learn to stop translating when I talk with people.
I would like to hire a tutor to spend several hours a day with me while my husband is away. I would like to have some lessons but am thinking that we could also do some fun things like visit a museum together, or eat some meals together, or maybe even take a day trip to a nearby village or city, all the while talking only in French. The rest of the time, I could watch French TV or try to get people in shops to talk with me. Perhaps there are some conversation groups I could join.
I would also be interested in taking a few lessons while my husband is in Brussels.
I am an American/Cana dian woman in my 60's, a retired professional and highly motivated to become fluent enough to be able to converse comfortably in French. I can actually read French better than I speak it and do not wish to work on my writing and reading skills.
Wo uld you have the time and be interested in helping me to design an immersion experience in early November? Perhaps if you do not have enough time, you have a friend who is a tutor and each of you could give me some time?
If you are interested, would you please tell me your thoughts about how to structure the experience and what it would cost?

Hi, my name is Anastasia, I work in Moscow in banking industry. I would like to learn French language for the purposes of living abroad, may be French-speaki ng country. I speak fluent Englih and have chosen French as the second foreign language. I have a zero knowledge and am looking to dedicate 2-3 hours per week to live classes on neutral territory or in my office within the centre of Moscow. In addition I'd like the teacher to give me a comprehensive homework to spend at least 2h per week on it as well. Only native speakers are welcomed please.

The reason why i want to learn these laguages is simply because i am soon to get married with a Moroccan man, who obviously also speaks french.
I want to be able for us to teach our future children these laguages and there for i would need to know it.
I am a beginner, i do understand some arabic but moroccan is totally different for me.
I also want to put a lot of time in to this as its a important matter for me.
