I am a high beginner in Japanese. I have taken a formal language course but would like to learn more. I can read most hiragana but only a few kanji (no katakana yet). At work I help Japanese speakers and would like to learn more Japanese to be able to help them better. I need to improve my understanding and use of spoken/conver sational Japanese. I would like to study on a weekly or biweekly basis for 2 hours. I have a lot of experience in studying foreign languages (I also speak French and Spanish and some Sign Language). I would like a teacher who has a lot of experience in giving grammar and conversationa l lessons. It would be best if the teacher is able to provide a variety of lessons that will help me on my job. I would prefer a female teacher.
