I am an immigrant from Australia and have previously learnt Japanese for 8 years in primary/middl e/high school to an high intermediate level (conversation about common topics/hiraga na/some kanji). I haven't spoken Japanese in 5 years and am going to Japan in February for 2 weeks and would like to be able to better converse with japanese friends and travel around. I am looking for a Japanese tutor to meet in the financial district or king/queen west once/twice per week after 5pm on weekdays to practice conversation and re learn much of the vocabulary that I have forgotten. Please contact me if this is something you would be interested in. I would like to begin these lessons in the first week of December.

I am learning a new language to expand my vocabulary. I would like to travel and learn about new cultures. I need improvement in every area ( grammer, conversation. ...) I am willing to dedicate as much time as needed to learn a new language. I'm not particular as to what language I want to learn. I am looking for a teacher who has lived in the country in which I'm expecting to travel. I would like my instructer to not only know the language, but know and appreciate the culture as well. I eventually would like to learn spanish, russian, chinese, french, german, filipino and arabic. So for now, I'm open to any information someone can give me in the Charlotte, NC area. :-)
