To Whom It May Concern,
I am a 25 year old recent graduate of Drexel University. I am half persian and am interested in becoming fluent in farsi. I would like to learn farsi to better communicate with relatives that I have in Tehran, Iran. I need improvement in all areas of farsi. I would refer to myself as a beginner but I can understand some farsi. I am willing to dedicate 10 - 20 hours per week at learning farsi. I do not have many specification s concerning my professor other than that farsi is their native language and that they are conveniently located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I was born and raised in America. my parents are from Afghanistan. i've always spoke farsi at home but i know i don't use the correct grammer. i would like some one to help me understand the correct usage and there are also many words i do not know (that are not used everyday) i would like to dedicate about 2hrs a day every 3 days or so to this. I have no prior experience with Georgian. I am trying to gain some basic language skills before going to live there for the academic year of 2008-2009 to do graduate research.
I would like to focus on conversationa l skills primarily, and could devote up to 4 hours/wk this summer 2008.
I would like a teacher who will meet with me in person, be patient, engaging, and work with me to decide what sorts of culture and vocabulary will be most useful.
I have 3 years experience with Russian, so anyone who also speaks Russian, and would be able to help me develop those conversationa l skills as well, would be a plus.

I am a beginner in learning how to speak Arabic. I would really like to learn, as I have recently converted to Islam, and reading and saying certain things in Arabic is very essential. It would be a great help if someone could teach me how to speak the Arabic thats spoken in Saudi Arabia, as I have heard there are many different versions of the Arabic language. I will dedicate a lot of time to learning how to speak Arabic and would rather have live in person sessions that aren't to expensive. As my teacher I would prefer if you have patience for if I do not understand something, I would rather be dealing with someone who is understandabl e.
