I am a determined student who is willing to improve my skills in reading, writing, and prolonging a conversation in the Polish language. Ever since the day of my birth, I was communicated to in the Ukrainian language, but as I grew older, I began to realize the similarities between these two languages. Throughout these years, I have been able to pick up on Polish through listening to my neighbors speak to my parents. Somehow, I have also begun to read, write, and sing in Polish without actually learning the language at all. Therefore, I would consider myself a beginner. I am very determined to learn this language to be able to properly communicate to my friends and close ones as well as pursue a career into becoming a translator for people like myself, being introduced to a new language. I am looking for a teacher who could be serious into teaching, yet comfortable to be around and has fun learning techniques. I ask for this teacher to dedicate one day per week (preferably Sundays) to help benefit my knowledge and understanding in the Polish language.

My family background is Polish and when I see my extended family I would like to be able to speak to them in the native tongue. I've had some beginner polish lessons when I was younger and have grown up listening to my Polish family talk. For the most part I can usually figure out what is being said, but I am unable to respond back. I'd like to do two lesson a week, until I'm comfortable with the language.
