i wish to learn to speak korean because my wife is korean and it is neccessary for me to learn it when i travel to korea. i know a few basic sentences but my level of proficiency is beginner. i would like to focus on developing my conversationa l skills. i would like to start off with possibly 1 2hr lesson per week at first. i just want to find a good teacher that can teach me quickly.

I am willing to learn Korean language because I am interested in engaging conversation with others of different nationalities . I would like to travel to Korea someday and this will be useful for me. It would be a great help if you could give me intensive korean lessons from a to z. I am willing to take the challenge as it is for my own good. I prefer a one to one lesson, preferably on weekends. I want to learn Korean because I am planning on going to Korea to teach for 1 or 2 years starting September 2011. I wish to also go back abroad after completing grad school- thus is my 5 year plan.
My proficiency is minimal. I can read a few characters and I know limited phrases such as 'thank you' 'my name is... nice to meet you' 'I like this' among a few. I can order food in Korean, however my comprehension is next to nothing.
Ideally I was looking for someone I can sit down with once a week for one or two hours at a time. I wish to start this in January 2011 and continue until I depart for Korea.
I'm a visual learner, so I learn best by writing, speaking or doing. Writing materials and conversation would be ideal.
