Hi I want Japanese lessons for my daughter so she can study in Japan on a school exchange. Unfortunately her school does not have Japanese as a subject. My husband would like me to learn Japanese for business as he imports motorbikes. And I would like my son 9 to learn as he has no other languages. We know basic Te Reo Maori and my daughter has done free classes in Japanese and Korean at the central library. I was trained in basic tourism Japanese as a teenager and we all do kyokoshin karate.

I decided to learn Japanese because I love the culture and wish to visit japan.Before i do visit japan i would need to learn it so i wont need to depend on other people to translate. I have been in love with Japanese culture ever since i can remember, I always heard stories of people in my family going to japan an just being so taken by the beautiful cities an gardens. Sadly they didn't know Japanese and it made it difficult for them to truly enjoy the culture. I am a beginner an hoping to learn enough to hold a conversation with people while in japan. Since this is something I truly setting as a goal I will spend 3 hours on my studies an more if given homework or study material to take home. I am looking for a teacher who is friendly and makes their lessons fun.
