I am a student studying ballet, based in London, UK but am Malaysian and will be back in KL for 2 months from mid August-mid October to spend some time with family.
I have recently changed ballet teachers and my current one is Russian and generally yells at me in Russian so it would be really nice if I'd actually be able to understand what he's yelling at me for and about. I speak no amount of Russian at the moment, with the exception of simple words like hello and thank you... but I have in the past, tended to pick up languages fairly quickly...
I'm willing to spend as much time as it would take (within the two month period) for me to understand and communicate with my teacher-obvio usly the more fluent I can become, the better. Am not particularly picky about a language teacher, just need someone who can teach me as much Russian as possible within two months! (and hopefully willing to teach for not very much money :s)

I would like to learn beginner Russian language to improve business relations, general conversation and communication with Russian clients. I work full time but will find time to study a new language and improve it. I am a linguisics major, but my university doesn't offer all the languages I want to learn. I learn foreign languages both as a hobby and as a way to keep my linguistic ability from wasting away. I am always learning, and want to keep it that way.
I speak Japanese with near-fluency, Intermediate German, Beginning Italian, and have learned a few basic words and phrases in Russian.
I learn *very* quickly. I am not exaggerating- it is simply the truth (I learned Japanese 101 in three hours).
I can faithfully reproduce an accent after about two to four hours practice.
I am only looking to improve in Russian at this time, and I have writing fairly nailed down. I know a few greetings, but not much beyond that. I have not learned much grammar or sentence structure yet. To sum it all up, I am looking for a Russian Course from the ground up.
Time is not an issue for me. I routinely spend most of a day on my language studies, and I don't bore easily with languages. In short, bring it on. I welcome the challenge.
