Hello, my name is Toby Jones and I am interested in learning to speak and write the Russian language. I am a college graduate with a bachelors degree in sociology with a minor in criminal justice. I am looking to further my education and pursue a career in language translation and possibly travel abroad to further my career. I have no experience with Russian but have taken some college courses in Spanish as well as French. I would be willing to dedicate a large amount of my time to language lessons. I am looking for a teacher who would be interested in taking a beginner to a level of fluent speaking.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I wish to learn Russian to help me in work and social life, both in Azerbaijan & beyond. I'm a beginner in Russian, but have some grounding in Slavonic languages (Polish/Serbi an), so the grammar and words are familiar.
I would like to learn basic phrases initially - purchases, directions, travel, time etc. While doing that, some explanations of the cases endings/conju gations will be required so that I can improvise.
Due to professional commitments, I can spend 1-2 hours with a teacher once or twice a week (weekend or evening), followed by work on my own. I'd like to deal directly with a teacher, alone or in a small group, to correct my pronunciation and understand the grammar.
I like a pleasant, courteous atmosphere, where learning can be enjoyable. I hope you can help!
