I would like to learn the Italian language, as I have been there and it was very difficult for me to communicate with people. Plus, I do have this hobby of learning languages and Italy is one of my fav. countries.
Therefore I would like to start as a beginner, and go onwards to the speaking level. I am planning to dedicate 2 days a week to learn (1 hour every time).
As for the teacher, I prefer her/him to be flexible in terms of timings.

Hello,
My name is Tonya and I would like to learn conversationa l italian. I am a school teacher in Mississauga and have been teaching for 8 years. I usually teach at the intermediate level (grade 7/8).
I have always wanted to learn italian because I am in fact part italian (on my father's side). More recently, however, I am contemplating teaching abroad for the following school year. My first choice of places to teach is Italy. I think it would be an amazing experience but also a little scary with the language barrier.
I am looking for a teacher who has obviously a lot of patience and also someone who can speak italian very well.
I think I would like to start off by having one lesson/week and then play it by ear.
