I currently live in Japan and have done for just over 4 years. In early April 2011 I will return to my hometown of Adelaide and I would like a tutor that can help me maintain and hopefully improve my current Japanese level. I have JLPT N3 and although living in Aus again, I would like to aim for a higher level in the future. My main purpose for seeking a tutor though is to have relaxed conversations and maintain my Japanese, not so much intensive study.

I want to improve my Japanese speaking skills for the purpose of being able to communicate to my relatives who reside in Japan.
Also becoming fluent in Japanese would be beneficial for me as it is in high demand in England. I want to have a second language and Japanese would benefit me personally and for my career.
I am currently intermediate but my speaking level is higher than my writing and reading level.Convers ational Japanese is what I want to achieve so taking lessons will hopefully build up my confidence.
I would probably want a few hours or more a week to improve my speaking and maybe less time on writing and reading, although I do believe that this is important as well.
A teacher who is friendly and welcoming is the kind of teacher I would like to teach me. Someone who is patient as well and is passionate about what they teaching.

I've always been interested in the Japanese culture- for as long as I can remember, really. I've decided recently that I'd like to learn the language. I have very little knowledge of the language, so I'm very much a beginner. I think an hour or two long lessons one or two times a week would work out well. As for teacher qualities all I need is someone who's patient.

- I wish to learn this foreign language (Japanese) not only because it will be an advantage to my career as a Call Center Agent but because I also intend to work in Japan.
- Proficiency level would be beginner.
