W hy I am learning this language- I am planning for a

I would say that I'm still in the beginner stage. I want to learn the Japanese language because I'm fascinated with the culture. I dated a japanese girl that I met while stationed in Sasebo and have visited many times. I feel that I would like to live there one day but have found it difficult to learn the language while living here. I can dedicate as much time as it will take. I think I need to understand more sentence structure and conversation. I'm looking for someone who will be able to teach me differences between the male and female language as well as the business usage so that I might one day find a job there.

I am a beginner. I have purchased Japanese language books and an audio language learning program. But I'm having a difficult time staying motivated because I have no live person to help me practice what I learn. I have made some Japanese friends (who are kind enough to speak English to me) and I want to travel to Japan one day but I would like to speak enough to get around and write emails to my friends. I'm interested in attending classes or taking private lessons.

Hello I recently returned to America after living in Japan for 2 years. I wish to keep my language skills. My language proficiency is either low intermediate or advanced beginner. I have passed level 3 of the Nihongo Noryoku Shiken. I may return to live in Japan some day and I need to stay current with the language. I need practice speaking as I can study Kanji on my own. Ideally I would like to have at least two hours of class a week. I am willing to do homework outside of class. I am looking for a native Japanese speaker who is patient and kind.
