Hi,
I am a beginner wishing to learn Thai due to regular travel to Thailand for business since 2002.
Having made several Thai friends snd having to get about Bangkok, also having an interest in Thai culture, and wanting to travel more in the kingdom, I believe learning Thai language will enhance all my experiences there.
I would like to be able to engage in general conversation, social and business.
I am thinking of spending 2-4 hours once a week in face to face lessons (preferably of an evening, or weekend), and practising between lessons.
My aim is to to converse at a basic level in three months.
I am looking for a practical teacher with both good Thai and English skills.
My business colleague is also interested in learning Thai, and we would enjoy learning in the same class.

I have no idea how to speak this language (thai) and my girlfriend and i are Planning a trip there for over 4 months and would like to get a basic understanding of the language. and i guess wouldnt mind getting a little more out of the lessons, perhaps a little more advanced. and if you can not help me do you know of anyone in the vancouver area who could???? i wouldnt mind if you could give me an idea of how much it will cost as well
